Who is FAHMS for?

Is FAHMS a PACS?

No. PACS manages the hospital's medical images. FAHMS manages the work and collaboration around those images, and works alongside existing PACS and RIS.

Can FAHMS work with an existing PACS?

Organizations can record PACS connection details today (integration foundation). Live DICOM/DICOMweb connections are not active yet; studies are currently opened from files, folders or ZIP packages.

Can I view DICOM studies?

Yes. CT, MRI, X-ray (CR/DX), ultrasound and other modalities in supported encodings, with window/level, measurements, cine and more. Available tools depend on modality, study type and technical compatibility.

Yes, with the Professional License or an organization plan: templates, checklists, measurement insertion, draft → final, amendments and PDF/print. Reports are kept in your encrypted local vault.

How does consultation access work?

You request a consultation with a purpose and an encrypted clinical question. If the consultant accepts, you then explicitly authorize access to one specific case for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. You can revoke access at any time.

Can accepting a consultation expose a patient's case automatically?

No. Accepting gives the consultant nothing until the requester explicitly authorizes access to that one case.

How does FAHMS protect patient information?

Studies are processed on your device; case details, reports, consultation questions and messages are encrypted in your browser so FAHMS cannot read them. Access is case-specific, time-limited and audited.

Does FAHMS store DICOM images?

Not readable ones. Studies you open stay on your device. Studies you send are encrypted on your device and stored temporarily until they are delivered or expire.

How does the 14-day trial work?

Every new account gets a 14-day trial that starts when you register. During the trial you can use the workstation, secure transfer and the advanced tools. It is time-limited, not a permanent free plan.

What happens when the trial expires?

Your account stays. Opening, sending and receiving DICOM studies needs an active Professional License (or your organization's plan).

Monthly plans charge every month. Annual plans charge once a year and cost less than 12 monthly payments. Both renew until you cancel.

Clinic / Diagnostic Centre: $25/month or $240/year, up to 10 active staff accounts. Hospital: $99/month or $1,080/year, up to 100 active staff accounts. More than 100 staff needs an Enterprise arrangement — contact the FAHMS team. The Professional License includes every independent feature, including MPR/3D, comparison, reporting, Secure Cases and second opinions.

How are payment issues handled?

Accepted Answer

Payments are processed by Paystack. Access is only granted after the payment is verified. A failed payment grants nothing and can be retried, and a successful payment that doesn't appear straight away is checked again automatically. Contact support if you were charged and access hasn't updated.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Cancel the renewal from Billing; access continues to the end of the paid period.

Does every Independent Professional have a referral link?

Yes. Every Independent Professional account has a unique referral link and referral code on its Refer & Earn page. Clinic / Diagnostic Centre, Hospital and Enterprise accounts are not eligible for the Independent Professional referral program.

How much commission can I earn?

Independent Professional referrers earn 30% commission on eligible payments made by customers they refer, including subscription purchases, renewals and upgrades. Commission is calculated on the amount actually collected and is subject to the program's payment, refund and eligibility rules. Payouts are made manually on the last Friday of each month.

Does the person I refer get a discount?

Yes. A new customer who registers through your referral link receives 15% off their first paid subscription payment. The discount is shown and applied at checkout and is not repeated on renewals or upgrades.

Will I earn commission on renewals and upgrades?

Yes. Eligible renewals and upgrades earn 30% commission on the amount actually collected. Duplicate, failed, test-mode, refunded and disputed payments do not generate payable commissions.

Do I receive the referral discount on renewals?

No. The 15% discount applies only to a new referred customer's first paid subscription payment. Renewals and upgrades are charged at the normal price.

What happens when my subscription expires?

You can still sign in and use your account, profile, billing, payment history and help pages. Subscription-dependent working features are locked until you renew, and FAHMS prompts you to renew when you try to use one.

Will FAHMS delete my account when my subscription expires?

No. Expiry alone does not delete your account or erase your saved records. Working features are restricted until you have an active subscription again.
