Platform

One workspace. Multiple workflows.

PACS manages the hospital's medical images. FAHMS manages the work and collaboration that happens around those images.

Identity & workspace

A professional identity built for radiology.

Every FAHMS user has a professional profile: designation, specialty, credentials, expertise, languages, availability and organization memberships. Switch between your personal workspace and the organizations you belong to.
Available

Professional profiles

Designation, specialty, credentials, languages and availability, with privacy controls over who can see your profile.

Available

Organizations & workspaces

Join organizations, hold a role in each, and switch workspaces without mixing personal and organization cases.

Available

Verification status

Registered Professional, Verification Pending and Verified Professional — verification is set by FAHMS administrators after review.

Registration does not automatically mean professional verification. Verification reflects an administrator's review of the information provided; it is not a licensing decision.

DICOM workspace

View and analyze DICOM studies

Open DICOM files, folders or ZIP packages directly in your browser. Studies are organized by study, series and image and processed on your device. See every tool.
Available

View

Zoom, pan, window/level with CT presets, fit and actual size, rotate, flip, invert, cine, metadata and keyboard shortcuts.

Available

Measure & annotate

Length, angle and area measurements; text, arrow and marker annotations kept in your session.

Available on supported plans

Analyze

MPR, MIP, MinIP, 3D volume view and side-by-side comparison where the series has the spatial data required.

Available tools depend on modality, study type and technical compatibility. Some compressed transfer syntaxes are not displayed yet.

Cases & reporting

From study to completed case

Turn a study into a structured clinical case with clinical information, exam reason, priority, assignment and an auditable status history. Patient and clinical text is encrypted in your browser before it is stored.

Cases & worklists

Personal and organization cases, assignments, priorities and status tracking with a case activity history.

Available on supported plans

Reporting

Templates, checklists, measurement insertion, draft → final, amendments and PDF/print output. Reports are kept in your encrypted local vault.

Available

Controlled access

Only the case owner, assignee and explicitly authorized people can open the encrypted clinical details.

Global collaboration

Collaborate beyond the room

Find professionals by username, name, designation, specialty, organization, country or verification status — always within each person's profile visibility settings.
  1. Find professional
  2. Request consultation
  3. Define purpose
  4. Authorize case
  5. Secure access
  6. Review
  7. Respond
  8. Complete
Accepting a consultation request does not automatically grant access to a patient's case or imaging study. The requester must explicitly authorize access to one specific case, for a set period.
FAHMS provides the technology and workflow for professionals to collaborate. Clinical opinions remain the responsibility of the qualified professionals providing them.
Available

Professional directory

Discover colleagues and organizations; exact username lookup still works for private profiles so secure sending stays possible.

Available on supported plans

Consultations & second opinions

Encrypted clinical question, response and follow-up messages; access expires automatically or can be revoked.

Available

Encrypted transfer

Send studies encrypted on your device; held temporarily and removed after delivery or expiry.

Organizations & PACS

Keep your PACS. Extend your workflow.

Organizations get a workspace with members, roles, per-role permissions, case assignment and organization worklists. FAHMS is designed to sit alongside existing imaging infrastructure rather than replace it.

AI-assisted workflow

AI that assists professionals — not replaces them.

AI assistance for drafting, summarizing and workflow is planned for supported plans. It is not available in FAHMS today. Read our AI principles.
